Cathy Barker

Cathy first entered the Private Investigation field in 1995, the same year Reed Research was established. She has worked for only two PI agencies since that time, 13 years at the first and years 16 with Reed Research. For 25 of those 29 years, she has worked side by side with Keith Elliott, as his executive assistant, handling clients, investigators and overseeing the administration aspect of the business. Cathy is also a licensed Private Investigator and has assisted with a variety of field assignments over the years.

Cathy previously worked as the Assistant to the President of a firm in Ottawa where she prepared Government reports and scheduled meetings locally and internationally as the liaison between Public/ Private Sectors. Prior to this, for several years she was the Manager assisting adjudicators at Workers’ Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).

During her down time, Cathy spends her time with her husband and daughter Samantha, who is also, a member of Reed Research Family, enjoying their love of baseball and dedication to the sport of 5-Pin Bowling, where they have travelled the country promoting and meeting new friends along the way.
